TOTAL POCKET BIKES TUTORIALSARE POCKET BIKES SAFE?
Safety precautions are crucial these sort of bikes. There is a certain amount made per day that are manufactured with very different manufacturing inspection checks as what we have in locally manufactured items. Its straight away evident from looking at some of the welds on the bikes, some look quite good while others seem like they were done blindly. They can still be safe and enjoyable, i just recommend taking them less for granted than something thats been designed to have better manufacturing rules. Check over the bike regularly to make sure all the bolts are tight. Make sure you use the right protective gear, i can't emphase this enough. I've heard way too many stories of people having scars or sore muscles because of the fact that they weren't wearing the right protective gear. The minimum i would go on a track with is, knee caps, elbow caps, an approved safety helmet and some decent motorcycle gloves that will protect your knuckles.
I use a full 1 piece leather suit, knee caps, a agv well fitting helmet and proper motorcycle gloves. I feel much safer than wearing just a helmet alone.
